We, the I Lifters, are a non-profit group whose mission is to educate the public about stereotyping and to help people gain confidence in their physical appearance. This group is dedicated to those who have/had their self-esteem eroded as a result of social typecasting. Our organization's goal is to reach every person's heart in accepting their physical appearance despite the social stereotypes that exist. We're taking advantage of this chance to promote "body optimism" and break down physical appearance stereotypes. We are a National Christian Life College group that will work to stop and disrupt the society's preconceived notions of what a man or woman should look like physically. We think that God created each person's body and that no one can tell a man or a woman how they should look. Physical appearance does not determine a person's worth in society. Accepting one's own body image promotes positivism in one's community.
